Did anyone out there go to Smokey Bones BBQ and Grill, and are you surprised the concept is being shut down?

Someone just told me the one in Buffalo is closing. A lot of chains don;t survive here but I thought it was pretty unique. Did anyone else have a Red Robin built attached to Smokey Bones?Did anyone out there go to Smokey Bones BBQ and Grill, and are you surprised the concept is being shut down?

Not Surprised! The one in my area is not that great and the service was lousy the one time I went. Everyone else I know that has been there has been unimpressed as well.Did anyone out there go to Smokey Bones BBQ and Grill, and are you surprised the concept is being shut down?
Yes, I was surprised to see the one in our area closed down, it was always busy. Had a really good concept to it.Did anyone out there go to Smokey Bones BBQ and Grill, and are you surprised the concept is being shut down?
I can't say that I am at all surprised the restaurant is not being received. I've been to 3 Smokey Bones in 3 different states and have never had a good experience. The food is mediocre at best and I would rather not start on the quality of the service.
My brother-in-law loves that place! I had no idea they were shutting down.
