I've recently applied for a server position and was told to come in and take a test in a couple of days...anyone have any insight as to how the test is going to be?Smokey Bones Test...?
When I took it about half of the test was basic restaurant knowledge (not serving alcohol to minors, get new silverware if a guest drops theirs, etc) and half tasting the differences in things (the difference between ketchup and BBQ sauce, the difference between pork and chicken, the difference between mashed potatoes and french fries, etc) Really, you shouldn't have any problems.
