SMOKEY PORK RIBS



4 - 6 lb. pork country style ribs, cut 1 inch thick

Water

3 cloves garlic, chopped

32 tbsp. butter

1 tsp. original Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp. hickory liquid smoke

2 tbsp. brown sugar

1 c. catsup 1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. pepper



Place ribs in large sauce pan; cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Meanwhile brown garlic in butter in sauce pan 2 to 3 minutes; add 1/4 cup water and remaining ingredient and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place ribs on grill; cook 20 minutes turning and b rushing with sauce every 5 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.

CROCKPOT BARBEQUE RIBS



3 lbs. spareribs

Salt and pepper

1 onion, sliced

1 (16 oz.) bottle smokey barbeque sauce (or 2 c. homemade sauce)



Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs in broiler pan under broiler for 15 minutes to brown and remove excess fat. Put sliced onion in crock pot. Slice ribs into serving pieces and put in crock pot. Pour in barbeque sauce. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 4-5 hours
