I've done the boiling %26amp; baking w/ water and vinegar. The all-time best BBQ that i've ever tasted is Old Hickory BBQ %26amp; Smokey Bones. I don't own a smoker. As far as store bought bbq sauce, I think Fat Boys rub %26amp; sauce, are the best. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.Does anyone know how to make restaraunt quality BBQ ribs?
This is a more unconventional BBQ rib recipe but it's our favorite at home and it's SUPER easy to make -
2 lbs country-style pork ribs
2 jalapenos
1 cup of peanuts
2 large shallots
1 clove of garlic
1 lime
1.) Remove peel from shallots and garlic. Juice lime, and remove stem from jalapenos.
2.) Add peanuts, jalapenos, garlic, shallots and lime juice to a food processor or blender and mix until it forms a nice paste.
3.) Season ribs generously with salt and fresh ground black pepper, and spread paste evenly on all sides of ribs. Refrigerate ribs for 1 hour to let the flavors sink in.
4.) Prepare grill - if using a charcoal grill, shift heated coals to one side of the grill.
5.) Cook ribs for one minute on each side on the hottest part of the grill - either over the coals or on the lowest rack of the gas grill.
6.) Move ribs to the cooler side of the grill or a higher rack to finish. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
7.) Serve with a squeeze of lime and enjoy!
