Why do all the good restaurants close... and the bad ones get rid of all their good items?

Cases in point:

* Poppa Jays closed

* Po Boys closed

* Hardee's sucks since they got rid of their Big Deluxe burger and the BBQ chicken sandwich made from their leftover fried chicken

* Checkers got rid of their Western Burger and that other one-- the one with that funky sauce but I can't remember the name

* there used to be this BBQ place I loved and it closed and I was little so I don't remember the name but they had the best BBQ ever (only Smokey Bones compares)

And why do almost no drive through restuarants have good solid chocolate desserts-- like brownies and cookies? I think Chick-Fil-A's the only one!Why do all the good restaurants close... and the bad ones get rid of all their good items?
i own a restaurant business... this is an easy question.

good restaurants close because!

GREAT PRODUCT! good food, it is their passion to make great food... however their marketing skills are lacking and they cant figure out good campaigns to get people in the door.

BAD restaurants get rid of good food because usually it costs more to keep that good food around, and although they are making money off it, its not as large of a profit margin to compare to their "bad" food.. so they only temporarily carry it to get customers in the door...! its a marketing thing.Why do all the good restaurants close... and the bad ones get rid of all their good items?
'Cause they see all these skinny women running around these days, and they figure they're all on waste - away diets, so they just figure, what's the use. Thats' why!
