Which name should I choose?

I'm finally going to be entering my 13-year-old Quarter Horse gelding in some local hunter shows (non-rated schooling shows and MAYBE one Quarter Horse show.) I positively LOATHE his registered name, which is "J M Two C Invest, so I would like to change it when I renew our AQHA membership this year. His barn name, "Smokey," is OK, but just doesn't have the pizazz for a show name. I also wanted an AMERICAN-sounding name because the Quarter Horse is the quintessential American horse; I didn't, therefore, want to name him after some English nobleman or Arabian sheik. He really does look like a fox hunter: a 16-hand, long-legged, glossy bay, big-boned but not bulky, with a modest diamond-shaped star on his forehead. He is a "Conclusive" horse on his dam's side; his sire of "The Invester" lineage. (I wish I could display a photo, but can't figure out how to download it onto Y!A....I'm not very technologically literate!)



Anyway, his "Invester" heritage had me thinking about names that had to do with the Stock Market, and I came up with "Irrational Exuberance" (courtesy of Alan Greenspan.) It also fits his personality. But I also like "Ever The Optimist" (a reflection of my own personality and beliefs) or simply "Optimistic".



So which one do you like best: "Irrational Exuberance," "Ever The Optimist" or "Optimistic?" Or can you think of something you find even more appropriate?Which name should I choose?
I like Ever The Optimist. I find it has a ring to it. :)

Optimistic is cute. But something about Ever The Optimist draws me.



Invest in Optimism? Conclusive Investment? I really, really like Ever The Optimist, though. (:

ur name on here is "miss luke"..so i was thinking u might want to go with something like.."Lucky Luke's Ever the Optimist". It gives the Judges a chance to identify not only the horse but the owner as well.
Ever The Optimist is cute, and I also really like Irrational Exuberance for some reason.



I also liked the other poster's idea of Conclusive Investment.

That's all I could come up with really.
I really like Irrational Exuberance, it reminds me of my three-year-old Haflinger!! I like Ever the Optimist, too, although to me, that sounds like it would be more likely to be taken as somebody's registered name already. I can't exactly remember AQHA's naming rules about duplicate names, I'm pretty sure it has to at least not conflict with the name of another living registered horse, and probably excludes well-known stallions as well.
Out of you'res i like Optimist the best, but I also like..

I really like Optimisit. It's short and sweet, but classic and strong! "Ever The Optimist" seems to wannabe , and Irrational Exuberance is a mouthful. I like Optimist!
