No and workers comp payments would be a joke to them. Most states have a maximum payment allowed and it is usually less than $1,000 per week...these guys make millions. Most of their contracts have specific terms for periods of injury.Do pro athletes get workers comp?
No, not under any worker comp scheme, however they still get paid their contract. Depends on individual contracts whether they get game payments etc though.
