Hi guys,
I am beginner on make up. Is difficult for me to archive smokey eye.
I am trying on day make up.
I used my blush as my eye shadow. And use light color for highlight my eye bone/ below brows.
I use black eye shadow as my eye liner. When I use other brush, I apply on my pinky color on my eye lid, it mixed up with my black eye liner.
1. Is applying black eye shadow as liner, on top the lashes? or, on the lashes(hard to archive)
2. applying eye shadow on eye lid, leave a small gap between eye liner and eye lids? so that I don't mixed them up?
3. After blinking my eyes for 382764 times, my pinkish eye lid has a black line, how to avoid that?
Thank you for the help.Correct way for eye shadow make up - beginner?
1.Use a eyeshadow primer and apply to the entire eyelid.
2.Use a grey eyeshadow from the lash line to the crease.
3.Sweep a black eyeshadow on the outer corner and blend in.
4.Apply a white shadow to the inner corner of your eye and blend in.
5.Use a black eyeliner to line your bottom lash line.
6.Use the white as an eyeliner and use an eyeliner brush to sweep it over the black liner.
7.Now line your bottom inner lash line with the black pencil.
8.Apply 2 coats of black mascara to your top lashes and a light coat to your bottom lashes.

Dear Novice,
You can try using waterproof or kohl eyeliners. What did you use, pencil or liquid eyeliner? I'd suggest you to experiment with eye shadows and eye make ups often, to achieve the perfection.
Anyway dear, try logging on to youtube.com. search for panacea81. she has alot of great makeup tutorials for you to learn. I learnt alot from her.
Give it a go!Correct way for eye shadow make up - beginner?
1 Start with a primer on your lids so the shadow will not smudge and no line will appear. The primer will keep the shadow the same as you put it on 16 hours later.
#2 I would line with a liquid eyeliner to start, it may be easier for you until you get use to it, then a black smudge liner.
#3 the black shadow does not interfere with the liner, do not leave a space between liner and shadow, feather the shadow out so you do not have a sharp line between all the colors.
Practice makes perfect, you can use a q-tip to help feather if necessary.... it will become second nature to you and you'll do it in about 2 minutes.
hope this may help you.
