What are the BEST kinds and brands of makeup you can buy at a drugstore?

Heloo there I am in need of some new makeup and i wanted you guys to help me find THE BEST kinds and brands to get :) however note that im not going to buy online or go to a special store to find the makeup. probally just going to target :) so stuff that would be there is great :)



okay well first..leme give you an idea of what i look like :)

im 17 years old and in 11th grade

i am extremelyyyy pale..like porceline skin color :P

green hazel eyes

small build and bone structure



so what are some of your favorite makeup brands and items?



I need:

FOUNDATION: something easy on your skin and wont make me break out. i have relatively clear skin for the most part however veryyy oily. my skin does get dry around certain parts of my face..so i duno if a mouse foundation would be best?

POWDER: something loose or compressed. i heard that is good to put on after foundation to set it. also i heard its good to control having a shiny face :P

EYELINER: any good brands or kinds? gel? liquid? pencil? any favorites or colors? any good brands?

MASCARA: i am crazy picky about my mascara! no clumps. looks natural but long. very hard to please i admit. so if you guys have a favorite pleaseee let me know! :)

EYESHADOW: i like kind of a smokey eye but very light..just going to school so maybe light gray? i dont know much about this kind of thing so any colors or ideas or brands are a help :)

1) Always tone and moisturize your face first. Choose an oil controlling moisturizer.

2) Use an oil controlling primer or makeup-base if you can get them.If not, a normal makeup-base would do

3) Use Maybelline Angellift Liquid FOUNDATION. It is not only cheaper than most other brands and affordable for a 17 year old, it has a very light texture and good coverage, very suitabe for young skin and oily skin. It does not clog your pores either. (Remember to always layer the product on slowly and blend it well with your fingers or a moist sponge)

4) Use a translucent loose POWDER to set your makeup. It give your face a flawless matt finish and translucent skin. Any brand would do, no preference, gives the same effect.

5) If you are a beginner, always start out with a pencil EYELINER as it is easier to control the strokes. My favorite brand is Loreal. I think all their eyeliners are good.

6) Light smokey eye for green eyes... I would say neutral shades like light brown, dark brown and gold. cover your entire eyelids with a light gold color. use dark brown on your double eyelids to deepen the crease, use light brown to lightly blend in the gold and dark brown. I like Lancome Neutral EYESHADOW pallete. But I don't think the brand matters that much, since we're not talking about expensive brands that are highly pigmented. buy some make up for ever stuff that's what i buy. i don't know the prices of the make up but it's pretty awesome! xD

foundation: fresh complection powder foundation by cover girl is amazing for oily skin

powder: if you get a powder foundation you dont need a power u might just want oil absorbing sheets

eyeliner: I love my maybline gel liner the brush it comes with is great and the color is soo true its easy to put on to

mascara: if you are looking for natural go with loreal bare natural

eyeshadow: i only use physions formula eyeshadows for the drugstore they are the most true color and most blendable

for foundation i would get clean and clear

and the corresponding powder from clean and clear alsoo

for eyeliner id stick to pencil, and in browns greys and blacks. brand doesnt really matter for this onee

mascrara is trickyyy. if you want noo clumps id go for l'oreal telescopic mascara

and eyeshadow i like almay



personalllyyy i stick to sephora brands. i use dior mascara, stila lip glosses, mac bronzer/blush, benefit highlighter/stainss, urban decay for eyeshadows,

Walgreens. Go to Walgreens.



Foundation: Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in your shade, go for something light.



Powder: Honestly, powder may not be something you want to use. If you do, it's best to go to Sephora and buy bareMinerals, because it WON'T clog your pores, like the cheap stuff will.



Eyeliner: Anything by Jordana. It's really pretty, especially the liquid eyeliner.



Mascara: Maybelline or GoverGirl.



Eyeshadow: Maybelline. They have different pallets or just single colors.
