Eye Make up for a dressed up sophisticated wedding..?

I'm the maid of honor of a friend of mine in her wedding, I will be wearing a long dark purple satin dress with an empire waist with a golden satin belt around with long sleeves, something like a little Elizabethan! I have light beige complexion with dark blonde hair, light brown almond eyes. I'm asking about the eye make up. should i do the smokey eyes with 3 different degrees of purple with black eye liner on both lower and upper lids and medium purple on the lower lid until half the way (coz eye lining all the lower lid makes me look awkward!) , or should i put gold eyeshadow on the eyelid and purple shadow on the lid bone with brown eyeliner on the upper and lower lids, or should i put basic light sheer on the lid and shadow on the far end of my eye bone with purple and black liquid eye liner with a fling at the end and purple eye liner on the lower lid? any other suggestions are welcomed!Eye Make up for a dressed up sophisticated wedding..?
While you have some awesome ideas up there, you dont want to take the attention away from the bride. i suggest you just go with something subtle especially if it's a morning/afternoon wedding like a neutral eye with a slight hint of purple to make your eyes pop with the dress. At night, i suggest a light smokey eye playing up with purples especially concentrating on the outer corner and just plain black eyeliner. Neutrals are usually the appropriate eye makeup look on weddings.Eye Make up for a dressed up sophisticated wedding..?
I'm surprised the bride isn't having a makeup artist apply makeup on the bridal party. As a makeup artist who's done wedding gigs before, I recommend that you give yourself a simple and clean look. If it's too plain, do a medium brown smokey eye using golds, taupes, and use a golden brown on the corners and crease. You never want to outshine the bride, no matter how fancy the ceremony location.Eye Make up for a dressed up sophisticated wedding..?
Brown eyes are beautiful with a brown and green eyeshadows, highlighted with a peach or light pink eye shadow and lined with a dark blue or navy liner.Eye Make up for a dressed up sophisticated wedding..?
your role is a bridesmaid but you want to look fresh and beautiful, worthy of being picked as one of the bridesmaids.

Let your beauty shine. Don't cover it up with colorful clowny distracting make up.

go for sunkissed look. Not only you will look stunning but elegantly madeup from an expensive salon.

you will find articles and videos on how to do it. search google for keywords: "sunkissed make up".
